1988: My First Winter Working


1988 December 3rd/ 4th
Worked on my first ever changeover – Bakerloo Line

Went to many gigs in run up to Christmas: 

December 5th – saw Voice of the Beehive with Andy - setlist 

   


December 14th – saw Sugar Cubes with Mark





December 20th – saw The Fall - Town & Country Club
Carry Bag Man / Wrong Place, Right Time / Hit the North / Deadbeat Descendant / Bad News Girl / Van Plague / Jerusalem / Cab It Up / Yes O Yes / Squid Law / Totally Wired / Bremen Nacht / Tuff Life Boogie / Big New Prinz / Mr Pharmacist / Ghost in My House / Kurious Oranj



Trip to Plymouth from 23rd to January 2 or 3rd.

Thursday 26th January – driving lesson
27th to 29th – trip to Plymouth. Saw PAFC vs. Everton and I wrote “we should have  won!”
Back to work on the 30th

On Feb 3rd I bought a bunch of music – Lou Reed, Darling Buds, The Fall, Ciccone Youth.
Feb 14th – driving lesson

I was due a mock driving test on March 1st but it never happened, but on Monday 13th March I passed my test.
