my first Dunwich dynamo was 2005 - i was slow and I came home on the coach. In 2006 S came up to fetch me and I was very early finishing so had to wait. In 2007 we planned it together and stayed up there for a few days after the bike ride. Visited Alderburgh for first time.

So - this is a long way round to work out that in 2008 I tried to repeat 2007 but longer. But we'd split up. I was at Dave's. I booked it all from my office at Bakers Street. It involved camping at Rendelsham and staying at Storubridge (?) Y.H bunk house. Which was new and rather nice with rather pleasent owner who i becamse a familair facre to over next few years. Finally stayed at Epping Forest just before it was due to shut for good. Phone S+++ and she was abusive on the phone after almost coming up to meet me a few times. So fucking unpredictable.

In 2009 I included the ferry rides down the east coast

in 2010 I did some cycling in Devon, out of Plymouth.

but then what? The photos show a ride from dartford bridge up through essex, etc. towards cambridge, then out to Stourbridge. Did i miss the Dynamo but do an apporximation anyay under my own terms?

And when did i cycle all round the Norfolk coast? 2011 after Dynmo again.

2013 - my last Dunwich Dynamo and i also did London to Brighton. It was the end of an era. But having all but officially transitioned and being treated as a woman in much of my life by the time - the interactions i had on those cycle rides - especially being shouted at by angry blokes nearly being beaten up (on dunsich dynamo) came as a shock and a very unwanted step backward which i never want to repeat.

I think now my cycling experiences as a woman have been much more positive, however, I have yet to achieve the levels of fitness i had pre-transition.
